The project has a total estimated investment capital of nearly 475 billion VND, equivalent to 20.4 million USD. Project implementation scale is over 3ha, with the goal of producing biomass pellets and wood chips.
AMI Quang Binh Company signed an agreement to develop wind power projects in Laos
On the afternoon of July 6, in the capital of Vientiane (Laos PDR), AMI Renewables Quang Binh Investment Joint Stock Company and representatives of the Lao Government signed an agreement to develop the AMI Savannakhet wind power plant project.
With a total capacity of 1,220 MW, the AMI Savannakhet Wind Power Plant project has a total investment of over 2 billion USD, this is the largest project in the energy field of Vietnam invested in Laos until now.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade presents the plan to remove the National Load Dispatch Center from EVN
On July 5, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has just submitted a report to the Prime Minister on the transfer of the National Load Dispatch Center (A0) to the Ministry. According to the report, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes to bring the National Load Dispatch Center (A0) to the Ministry in two steps:
First, separate A0 from Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) to establish a one-member limited liability company, under the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises.
After that, the ownership of this unit was transferred from the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Vietnam imported the first 70,000 tons of LNG
On July 10, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) will receive a ship to transport 70,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to LNG Thi Vai Terminal. This is also the first LNG shipment to be imported and transported to Vietnam.
